Biography

I began swinging a hammer as a 20 year old kid helping my Dad build a deck.  I still remember getting chuckled at when trying to hit a nail on the head.  He said, "I don't get it, you can hit an 80 MPH fast ball no problem, but you can't hit that nail and its not even moving!" We had a good time that Fall and when it was done, I remember the pride he took looking at the final product.  I also felt proud and realized then why he became a carpenter.

If it were easy, anybody could do it.  I enjoy the hard days when the air is so thick and there is no breeze while we drag materials around the job site.  I actually like the cold days when you have to bundle up and move fast just to stay warm.  I love turning around at the end of the day and seeing something now exist, though it was only in someone's head just a while ago.  I love the life long relationships built with hard working crews helping us deliver a perfect job every time.  I appreciate getting to do what I love to do every day.  I believe that is what sets us apart from most of the others out there.  Appreciation.   I love that no matter how long I do this, I will never know it all because I still learn something new every day.
